Cycle or walk the river
Jump on the Avon – Otakaro cycle/walkway anywhere in Richmond and enjoy nature. From Swanns Road bridge to the Gayhurst bridge, in a circle, it is only 4.5kms and there is lots to see along the way: the Richmond Community Garden; Avebury House; Riverbend Refuge; Heritage Garden; and lots of fruit trees to forage.
