History Posters Installed/ Parklet Tidied Stanmore Rd

May 10, 2025 | Active Richmond, Educate Richmond, Healthy Richmond, Heritage Richmond, RR&BA

What a difference a year makes!

The new Richmond History posters on the corner of Swanns/Stanmore Rd were just installed by committee members Ewout and Liesbeth. Thanks to David Hollander from the Richmond History Group at Avebury House for researching the history, writing and photos. And Hayley Guglietta for dreaming up the concept!

We are Richmond held a working bee last year to clean up this overgrown area, and Done N Dusted Insideout offered their equipment and truck to help. Look at the progress now! Thanks to the work of so many volunteers, we have this wonderful space now.

Have a walk down, have a seat, relax, and learn about Richmond!
