Avebury House a gem hidden on the edge of the red zone

Avebury House a gem hidden on the edge of the red zone, owned by the CCC, run by a community Trust. Built in 1851 by the Flesher Family Avebury House was one of the founding farms in Christchurch. The Flesher family gifted the house and remaining land to the Government in XXX and then it was regifted to the CCC in XXX.
These days the house is nestled in a heritage park and is seen as the hub of Richmond, holding low cost groups, events and resources targeted at the local community.

Te Oraka Community Pools Co-Hosted Cleanup 2&3
Volunteers were back, from different Shirley, Richmond and Dallington groups. Their second and third cleanup sessions at Te Oraka Community Pools were a success!
