Nominations Open for We are Richmond


Annual nominations for We are Richmond/ Richmond Residents’ and Business Association are open, and due by 25 August, 2022. Our AGM is 30 August, 7pm at Avebury House.
Do you want to join a group that takes action to make Richmond a better place to live? Our volunteers work to make positive changes, create relationships, advocate for good in the community, and hold events in our area to improve all residents quality of life.

Committee Member
Projects to date are beautifying Richmond’s spaces with planter boxes, murals, planting trees and plants, weedathons, and supporting beautiful spaces and parks in Richmond and in the community gardens/Red Zone for everyone to enjoy. Building working relationships with local government to advocate for for transparency with roadworks schedules, reducing litter on the streets, educating residents on what is happening in the area, promoting and assisting businesses, activities for children such as painting sculptures, bird houses, and mural painting, and speaking in front of the council on issues pertinent to the area.
We would love more members who want to continue to make Richmond and the surrounding areas thrive–to create projects and action to improve everyday life for all residents in Richmond. Come join us!
