Roadworks Update for Nicholls Street 21
There will be a kerb pour between Nicholls St and Stapleton Road on Monday, 24/6/24. Residents living at 50, 52, 54, and 56 Dudley Street, please move your vehicles by 7 am. Your driveway access will be restored by 5 pm.
We apologize for any confusion caused by our letter dropped this Thursday regarding the change of entry from Slater Street to Stapletons Road. Due to traffic restrictions at the Slater Street four-way stop intersection, we need to continue work under the current one-way system, with entry from Slater Street. We will keep you updated on when Traffic management will be changed. Thank you for your understanding.
Traffic:
• Nicholls Street, one way at all time, no entry permitted from North Avon Road . Live footpath is on the east side of Nicholls street.
• Dudley street, one way at all time, no entry permitted from Stapletons Road. Live footpath is on the North side of Dudley street.
• McLeod Street, Footpath closure on East side
Inconvenience:
• Footpath construction on Nichols street West side, active communication will be given the day before to residence that will be affected.
• Grass area reshaping and new tree pits installation on East side of Nicholls Street with footpath pedestrian escort, please wait at the sign, our worker will escort you through.
• SW main trenching on south side of Dudley street, between Nicholls st and Slater street, active communication will be done daily if passing your driveway.
• Site investigation work on Dudley Street will produce significant noise when the large air vac is in operation.
• On Dudley Street, Kerb work between Nicholls st and Slater Street on the south side, active communication will be done daily if passing your driveway.
• Kerb pour on Monday, 24/6/24 between Slater Street and Nicholls Street
