- To adopt the revised constitution of the society to be known as “We Are Richmond”.
The committee resolved to reduce the number of members required for a quorum at a Special General Meeting from the originally proposed 20 to the statutory required 10. Motion Carried.
The committee resolved to add
16:1 The Society has the right to alter any minor detail within the constitution without calling a special general meeting provided that the change does not alter the overall purpose and objectives of the society
The committee resolved that where minor changes are requested to the form and content of the Constitution, that adoption of these may be achieved by return email from the required 10 members rather than calling for a Special General Meeting. Motion Carried.
