Matariki Decoration Session 1

We had a great time last night at the Matariki Tree Decoration Workshop Afternoons making banners and decorations that we’ll decorate trees with the week before Matariki in the Richmond Community Garden. Our star is Ururangi (winds of the sky) and we’ve made a great start.
Please come along and help us make our banner and decorations beautiful for the display next Tuesday! Event link: https://www.facebook.com/share/1ECU9YL9Cw/
Thanks to The White Room Creative Space New Brighton Stitch-O-Mat and Tiny Fest for allowing us to co-host and use White Room’s amazing art studio space at the Climate Action Campus.
