Red Zone Edge Housing Forum

We partnered with Avon Otakaro Network, Greening the Red Zone and Dallington Residents’ Association last Thursday night 4 June to run the Red Zone Housing Forum. It was well-attended with over 200 people. Guest speakers covered future Red Zone housing topics, then those attending (former red zone house owners, current residents living along the Red Zone borders or nearby) discussed and wrote down what should and shouldn’t be in the Red Zone edge housing areas.
We are gathering feedback to put in a community response to the RFI. There was an amazing outpouring of history, emotions, experiences, and future possibilities. Thanks to all that attended. Follow on Facebook for any future events.
