Te Oraka Community Pools Co-Hosted Fence Removal

Volunteers from Shirley Community Trust, Shirley Village Project, We are Richmond, Te Oraka Community Pools Committee and Richmond/ Dallington and surrounds gathered to finally removed the old fence at Te Oraka Community Pools!
These former Te Oraka Shirley Intermediate pools haven’t been used in the last few years and were potentially going to be closed. The Te Oraka Community Pools Committee was set up by members from local organisations and residents last year to work together for a solution to keep these pools as a community asset for all members to use, not just students.
Thanks to all of the volunteers’ hard work, look at how fast the fence was taken down. Kai Pai!
Thanks for all of your hard work and effort.
