Roadworks Update for Nicholls Street 16
Due to the weather and ongoing staff sickness, the chipsealing has been rescheduled to next Wednesday, 29/5/2024. If the rain saturates the road and it’s too wet for sealing, we’ve set backup dates for Thursday, 30/5/2024, and the following Wednesday, 5/6/2024.
We’ll do our best to get it sealed as soon as possible. Thanks for your understanding.
Currently, next week’s plan includes critical dates that will affect residents’ access:
- Thursday, 23/05/2024, 9-10:30 am: A testing truck will need to reach 70km/h for a Naasra test on Nicholls street. Please do not enter the road, and if walking on the footpath, keep pets on a leash and supervise children during this time.
- Friday, 24/05/2024: Chip sealing. Please move your cars by 8 am, as no access will be allowed during the day. Access will be restored by 5:30 pm.
If you need constant access during the day or cannot move your car before these times, we highly recommend parking on a nearby street and using the footpath to walk in and out.
We will keep you posted if there’s any change, thank you for your understanding and patience. You will soon have a nicely sealed street.
