RRBA Installs Wayfinding Signs at Swanns Road Parklet

Thanks to numerous hours of work by RRBA volunteers, other volunteers, and many different services, we’ve finally completed and installed our Wayfinding signs re-installation at the Swanns Rd Parklet (corner River Rd/Swanns Rd).
Due to vandalism damage and graffiti in the past, we had to take them down to be made more robust. These processes involve multiple volunteers and organisations and this takes time with non-profit organisations!
Thank you to JS Hobby cuts for etching our Explore Richmond map, and the Auahatanga | Creativity team at @Tūranga Christchurch City Libraries for helping us engrave our direction wayfinding signs with the laser cutter! Resident Michelle did an amazing job painting the map. Thank you to the Graffiti Team at Christchurch City Council for the coating we applied to safe-proof them.
Now come and enjoy this restful park area on your daily walk along the river, right next to the Richmond Community Garden!
