Rainwater Garden Planting Session on Stanmore Road

Last week, We are Richmond held a rainwater planting event. It complements the mural completed earlier this year, by Nick Lowry, a talented local Christchurch artist, on the side of Graphic Addiction, 330 Stanmore Road.
The mural and rain garden will bring beauty and pause on the often-busy Stanmore Road.
Please go and visit the garden for a small moment of peace and serenity.
Thank you to Trees for Canterbury for their generous donation of plants to fill the rainwater garden.
And thank you to Nick Lowry for your amazing artwork that will brighten Richmond!
We are Richmond is a group of locals passionate about improving the suburb and everyday living for its residents–come along to one of our events, or our monthly meetings (7pm, 4th Tuesday of every month) to make a difference. Click here to find out more.

Another amazing Mother of All Cleanups along the Avon River. Volunteers from all over came together to clean the river and gather at Riverlution afterwards.
Pickup and Plant at Pareaway Banks Avenue School Entrance
This school walkway at the Northern entrance of Pareawa Banks Avenue School needs tidying. So we ran a working bee!
