Seed Bomb and Seed Packet-Making Workshop
Tamariki and residents of all ages had a fabulous morning coming together and making seed bombs and seed packets with the Richmond Community Garden in January.
We hand-mixed compost and other materials with seeds, and formed them into balls. The children then had a go at throwing them at homemade targets throughout the Richmond meadow!

At the Red Zone Housing Forum, guest speakers covered future Red Zone housing topics, then those attending wrote down what should and shouldn’t be in the Red Zone edge housing areas.
Mother of All Cleanups River Cleanup
Another amazing Mother of All Cleanups along the Avon River. Volunteers from all over came together to clean the river and gather at Riverlution afterwards.
Pickup and Plant at Pareaway Banks Avenue School Entrance
This school walkway at the Northern entrance of Pareawa Banks Avenue School needs tidying. So we ran a working bee!
