We’d like to say thank you to everyone for coming out to the Spring Fair! What a fabulous day. Thank you to everyone who came along to enjoy the festivities, but also our volunteers, organisations and businesses too! Our twice-annual fairs (Spring Fair and Richmond Gala) are a joint effort between Richmond Community Garden Avebury House and We are Richmond which takes months of planning, but it’s all worth it!

We are Richmond hosted the Children’s Area in Avebury Park during the huge event and so many wonderful local organisations came along to participate. We are Richmond also had its own stand and we talked to the community about the work we’ve been doing all year and residents could vote on what they’d like to see us focus on next year. We also had representatives from Te Oraka Community Pools to discuss action being taken to reopen these pools (former Te Oraka Shirley Intermediate pool). We also shared a stand with Sunrise Rotary who has supported We are Richmond and many other Richmond organisations.

A big thank you to all of these organisations that came to the Children’s Play Area at Avebury Park:
