Adventure Avenue Wander/ Walking Festival

Earlier this month, we hosted an amazing The Walking Festival walk with Avon-ĹtÄkaro Network guided by tamariki, called Adventure Avenue Wander.
And amazing it is! This walk was a chance to show off all of their hard work, and to show locals (and non-locals!) all of the hidden gems around the Adventure Avenue area. And all of the new plantings. Everyone learned something!
Thanks to Oscar and Hollie, our guides who have worked on the project for a few years (and are now intermediate students), and to Hayley’s dedication, mostly volunteering her own time, to make this all happen!
